"We had our wedding shower here and it was absolutely gorgeous! It's even more beautiful in person. The historic southnern feel is something you can't find anywhere else. There are beautiful 100 year old oak trees that provided enough shade for us to comfortably have an outdoor event in June. The property is very well manicured and has a lot of great spots for pictures. Above all, the owner was an absolute joy to work with. She went above and beyond in every aspect before during and after our event. I would highly recommend Longstraw Farms for your next event."

"One of the best examples of Victorian Arcitecture in the Ayden vacinity, the house was a highly ornamented hip-roof front porch with intricate sawnwork on the balustrade and eave brackets. The interior of the house is nicely finished with four-door panel doors, molded baseboards and chair rail and typical 1870s-1880s mantels with scalloped friezeboards. The house sits beneath a grove of mature oaks on a very picturesque site with a long grassy lane leading to the house."
